Terms of Business

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Business govern your use of this website and your enquiries or instructions to BNXT Sdn Bhd (“BNXT”, “we”, “us” or “our”) concerning insurance, takaful, roadtax, automotive regulatory, cross-border vehicle insurance, travel protection, and related operational services.

By instructing us to proceed with a service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. A separate quotation, service agreement, partner agreement, policy, certificate, product disclosure sheet, or insurer terms may also apply. If there is a conflict concerning insurance coverage, the issuing insurer’s or takaful operator’s documents will prevail.

2. BNXT’s role

BNXT provides distribution, coordination, and operational support. We may obtain quotations, submit documents, relay instructions, and coordinate with insurers, takaful operators, dealerships, introducers, service providers, and regulatory authorities.

Unless expressly stated in an applicable product document, BNXT is not the insurer, takaful operator, claims decision-maker, JPJ, PUSPAKOM, APAD, or another regulatory authority. Product acceptance, coverage, premiums, certificates, endorsements, claims, inspections, permits, and roadtax approvals remain subject to the responsible third party’s rules, systems, and final decision.

3. Your authority and responsibilities

You agree to:

• provide complete, accurate, current, and non-misleading information and documents;
• review all quotations, declarations, vehicle details, sums insured, benefits, exclusions, and policy documents before confirming;
• promptly notify us of errors, changes, prior claims, material facts, or other information relevant to the request;
• ensure that payments are made through authorised channels by the stated deadline; and
• have proper authority and consent when acting for a vehicle owner, traveller, employee, customer, company, or other person.

Incorrect, incomplete, or late information may cause a revised premium, delay, rejection, cancellation, invalid coverage, loss of NCD entitlement, unsuccessful roadtax processing, or other consequences imposed by the relevant provider or authority.

4. Quotations and insurance documents

Quotations are indicative until accepted by the issuing insurer or takaful operator, all required information is verified, and payment is successfully received. Prices, taxes, stamp duty, fees, coverage, and availability may change before issuance. A quotation is not proof of insurance or takaful coverage.

Cover begins only on the date and time shown in the valid policy, certificate, cover note, or other confirmation issued by the responsible insurer or takaful operator. You must review the issued documents immediately and notify us promptly of any discrepancy.

5. Roadtax, NCD, endorsements, and regulatory services

Roadtax renewals, NCD withdrawals or transfers, policy endorsements, vehicle inspections, ownership matters, permits, and other regulatory processes depend on eligibility, supporting documents, insurer records, authority systems, outstanding restrictions, and applicable rules. BNXT cannot guarantee approval or completion within a particular time unless expressly confirmed in writing.

You remain responsible for checking that your vehicle, licence, permit, inspection, policy, certificate, and roadtax are valid before driving or using the vehicle.

6. Thai vehicle and travel protection

Cross-border Thai vehicle insurance and travel protection are subject to the territorial limits, eligibility, duration, exclusions, documentation, and legal requirements stated by the issuing provider and relevant authorities. You are responsible for obtaining all passports, visas, permits, vehicle documents, and other items required for travel or border entry. BNXT does not guarantee admission into another country.

7. Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Applicable premiums, contributions, taxes, government charges, delivery charges, and service fees will be stated in the quotation or payment request where relevant. An instruction is not complete until cleared funds and all required documents have been received.

Cancellation, amendment, and refund eligibility is determined by the issuing insurer or takaful operator, the relevant authority, and any applicable product or service terms. Charges already incurred or submissions already processed may be non-refundable. Any available refund may be reduced by applicable charges and processing already completed, as disclosed to you.

8. Delivery and communications

We may communicate and deliver quotations, policies, certificates, roadtax confirmations, invoices, and updates through email, telephone, messaging services, or other agreed channels. You are responsible for providing correct contact details, checking communications, and keeping copies of issued documents. Electronic communications may be delayed by provider outages, filtering, incorrect details, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Claims and assistance

Claims are assessed and decided by the issuing insurer or takaful operator under its policy or certificate terms. BNXT may help direct or coordinate an enquiry but cannot promise that a claim will be accepted, paid, or resolved within a particular period. You must comply with the provider’s notification deadlines and claims procedures.

10. Website information and acceptable use

Website content is general information and is not a personal recommendation, binding quotation, or guarantee of product availability. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, submit unlawful or fraudulent requests, impersonate another person, or infringe BNXT’s or a third party’s rights.

BNXT owns or is authorised to use the website’s content, branding, layout, and materials. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. External links are provided for convenience and do not make BNXT responsible for the linked service or content.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BNXT is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or late information supplied by you or another authorised party; an insurer’s, takaful operator’s, authority’s, or service provider’s decision; system or network outages; or events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or any other obligation that Malaysian law requires us to retain.

12. Privacy

We process personal data as described in ourPrivacy Policy. By supplying another person’s data, you confirm that you have authority to do so and have provided any notice or obtained any consent required by law.

13. Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms when our services, partners, or legal requirements change. The version applying to a request is the version in effect when you instruct us, unless separate written terms state otherwise. These terms are governed by Malaysian law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
